Digital Trading Assistant
Location: Manchester (Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office)
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000
Contract: Permanent - This is a Junior role for someone with 6 months plus experience
The role
You will support the Digital Trading team with merchandising across digital. The aim is to have the right products at the right time, in the right quantities and at the right price. You will report to the Digital Trading Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Product set-up: Maintain online product styles and categories, uploading ranges in line with seasonal deadlines using Pimberly.
- Product pages: Work with the product and marketing teams to keep descriptions detailed and accurate, and support the Digital Trade Executive with optimised listing pages.
- Translations: Coordinate translated product descriptions with the external agency for regional launches.
- Merchandising: Create high converting collection pages and use visual merchandising tools to keep the most relevant product visible.
- Promotions: Build multi-buys and promotional codes in line with the Digital Trading plans.
- Reporting: Report on trade performance, upload progress and stockholding, sharing insights and recommending action.
- Compliance: Follow consumer and data protection policies, in line with the Group’s GDPR strategy.
About you
- Entry-level digital trading experience in a fast-paced commercial environment preferred, but not essential
- Numerate, with experience of working with large data sets
- A good understanding of the customer journey
- Consideration for the financial impact of trading decisions
- Experience of complying with GDPR
- Useful experience: Excel, ERP systems, Bloomreach, Google Analytics, Contentsquare, Power BI
