I'm looking for a senior Fullstack JavaScript contractor to join a scale up in Manchester for the next 3 months (and beyond).
The role is outside IR35 and requires 1 day a week in the office in central Manchester (mostly for meeting updates)
The business has been building their platform for the past 18 months or so, and looking to essentially replatform it in the entirety to a modern Node/Typescript/React stack hosted on AWS. Knowledge of Kubernetes and how to build for CI/CD pipelines would be useful, however the CTO/lead engineer is taking the reigns on the cloud infrastructure work.
There is plenty of legs in the contract, with the expectation that there'll be at least 6 months before go live onto the new platform. Ideally you'll have a bit of experience in solution architecture, as well as working knowledge of how to use Claude or CodeX to take a lot of the grunt work required. The existing features of the current platform will exist as tokenised context to build from.
