The Marketing Executive is a wide and varied role reporting into the Group Sales Director and covering all aspects of marketing.

The Role:

  • Collaborate with the business owners, sales director and sales team to develop ideas for growth
  • Generate and collaborate on ideas to create engaging and original posts and content for various channels, including social media, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Track and report on campaigns and potential areas for improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends to ensure content stays relevant.
  • Respond to requests from the sales team for bids, tenders, presentations and general sales and marketing collateral.
  • Maintain current brochureware/presentations etc and support Sales Director in creation of any new material required to support the sales team.
  • Collaborate with sales team to support any individual campaigns from an ideas, content and execution perspective.
  • Develop and administer client satisfaction surveys in collaboration with other departments to gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities
  • Plan, organise, and execute events such as webinars, client meetings & networking/social events.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, invitations, and follow-ups (including travel bookings and reservations if required)
  • Research relevant industry awards and opportunities for recognition with responsibility for submissions and award entry management.

The candidate:

  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales or similar departments, to achieve shared goals
  • Experience of owning and managing company websites across technical e.g. SEO and content (producing and publishing)
  • Experience of SEO tools (e.g., SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
  • Experience setting up and managing paid social media campaigns, such as Sponsored LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Good working knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and experience in optimising email campaigns, including data selection, subject lines and content relevance
  • Experience developing creative content independently, including generating informative or engaging content ideas.
  • Experiencing producing high-quality PowerPoint/presentations and brochureware
  • Event management
  • Industry knowledge of the consulting or IT/change management industry beneficial
  • Experience of working with AI tools to improve efficiency such as ChatGPT, Bard or Midjourney would be advantageous
