The Opportunity
We're seeking a hands-on, analytically-minded Senior Paid Media Executive to take ownership of search advertising operations across our client's portfolio. This is a newly created role designed to initially work alongside their current agency partners before transitioning to full internal ownership of the paid search function.
This position offers genuine career progression and the chance to build something from the ground up - you'll be instrumental in establishing best practices, processes, and strategy that will shape the future of their paid media operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Campaign Management & Optimisation
- Execute end-to-end Google Ads campaign management including keyword strategy, ad copywriting, bidding optimisation, and campaign structuring
- Monitor daily performance across key metrics (ROAS, CPA, CTR, Quality Score) and implement data-driven optimisations
- Conduct A/B testing across multiple campaign elements to drive continuous improvement
Analytics & Reporting
- Leverage Google Ads, GA4, and Looker Studio to analyse performance and identify growth opportunities
- Provide regular performance reports and strategic insights to internal stakeholders
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for campaign improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with ecommerce, product, and creative teams to align campaigns with business initiatives
- Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
- Identify opportunities for landing page and conversion rate optimisation based on campaign insights
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- 2-3 years of hands-on Google Ads management experience, either in-house or agency-side – eCommerce / Google Shopping experience is a must for this!
- Independent operational capability within Google Ads and related analytics platforms
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to identify and implement performance improvements
- Clear communication skills for presenting insights and collaborating across teams
- Self-motivated approach with ability to work autonomously and take ownership
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working with ecommerce retailers
- Knowledge of Google Shopping campaigns and feed-based advertising
- Experience managing agency-to-in-house transitions
- Exposure to Microsoft Ads and Performance Max campaigns
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation and landing page best practices
