Project Administrator / Project Coordinator

Manchester (Hybrid 3 days in the office, 2 working from home) 
Up to £30,000 + Benefits including:

We're working with a Manchester-based social enterprise that delivers funded training programmes aimed at helping individuals from underrepresented backgrounds access careers in the creative and digital sectors. The organisation partners with a range of well-known employers across media, retail, public sector and digital, delivering structured programmes that combine training, mentoring and work placements. They're now hiring a Project Administrator / Project Coordinator to support the delivery of these programmes.

The role could suit someone who has been working as HR Assistant, Operational type role, Office Manager or has experience of training course management. 

The role of the Project Administrator / Project Coordinator: 

This is a hands on coordination role focused onprogramme administration, data accuracy and operational delivery. You'll support multiple programmes at different stages, working closely with Project Leads to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Key responsibilities of the Project Administrator / Project Coordinator: 

  • Supporting recruitment administration and candidate onboarding
  • Managing candidate data, records and compliance (GDPR)
  • Scheduling sessions, coordinating diaries and managing virtual delivery (Teams)
  • Acting as a point of contact for programme participants
  • Maintaining spreadsheets, CRMs and internal systems
  • Supporting reporting, attendance tracking and documentation
  • Ensuring operational details are completed on time and to standard

The ideal background of the Project Administrator / Project Coordinator: 

  • Previous experience in an admin, coordination or operations role (e.g. project admin, HR admin, recruitment admin, training or education support or you will have been an office manager looking to move into a more process driven role who possess strong organisational skills)
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence handling data
  • Comfortable using Excel, Outlook, Teams and internal systems / CRMs
  • Clear written communication and professional manner
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Confident working with people from diverse backgrounds
  • An interest in the creative or digital sector is beneficial but not essential.
