With a strong retail store footprint and growing digital presence, the merchandising function drives forecasting accuracy, stock optimisation and profit delivery. The team is structured, fast paced and analytical as we look to add another Merchandiser to our team due to expansion.

As a Merchandiser, you will take ownership of planning and trading for our brands while leading a team.

Key Responsibilities of the Merchandiser:

• Build and own product mix packs and sign off on documentation.
• Analyse historical data to shape department strategy.
• Align plans with Buying and wider commercial objectives.
• Load and maintain accurate forecasts within WSSI.
• Lead weekly trade reviews and present performance updates.
• Manage OTB, commitments, intake and sell-through forecasting.
• Identify risks and implement recovery actions.
• Own markdown proposals and support pricing decisions.
• Manage intake flow and stock levels across channels.
• Oversee PO management and DC splits.
• Lead team trade meetings and weekly priorities.
• Manage and develop direct reports including 1:1s and coaching.
• Collaborate with Trading, Digital, Visual Merchandising, Finance and Distribution teams.

The Key Skills of the Merchandiser:

• Proven Merchandiser experience within retail.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Advanced Excel capability and confidence handling large datasets.
• Strong commercial judgement backed by data.
• Comfortable presenting in trade meetings and influencing stakeholders.
• Able to operate at pace in a high volume retail environment.
