Cloud Architect – eDV Cleared | National Security | London or Surrey

You'll support sensitive operational capabilities for a long-standing UK government customer, through a delivery partner with a deep, trusted reputation in national security.

You’ll also join a growing organisation combining the scale and stability of a larger group with the agility and delivery culture of an SME.

The Role – What You'll Do & What You'll Bring

This role suits Cloud Architects, Lead DevOps Engineers, and Platform SMEs with secure delivery experience.

You will:

• Design and deploy secure AWS-based platforms in high-side and cross-domain environments

• Lead infra delivery using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and container tooling (Docker/K8s)

• Collaborate with IA, SIROs, and cyber teams to align delivery with risk posture

• Support migration of legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native architectures

You should have:

• Experience working in secure, air-gapped, or compartmented environments

• Knowledge of JSP, DSAB, and governance frameworks in the UKIC domain

• Ability to engage confidently with cyber and delivery stakeholders

Location & Working Pattern

• Primarily on-site in London or at a secure site in the Home Counties

• Access to a high-side engineering hub near London (rail links, parking, bike storage)

• Hybrid working supported where mission context allows

Security Clearance Requirements

This role requires active enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance to work within the UKIC domain.

To be eligible, you must:

• Be a sole British Citizen

• Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 10 years

• Be willing to undergo the UK’s most in-depth vetting process if not already held
