Paid Social Lead
Salary up to £50k plus bonus

Forward Role are excited to be exclusively partnering with a tech-lead, international consumer business as they undergo a highly exciting time of growth and digital transformation. Their Head of Paid Media, who this role reports into, has created this brand-new role which the business has never seen before, making this an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Senior Paid Social expert to come in and really make their stamp!
The Paid Social Lead will be managing a small team of Executives, and overseeing a 7-figure annual budget across most major social platforms, whilst still dipping into the day to day account management at times. Programmatic is a huge area of interest for growth for the business, so any candidates who can bring any Campaign Manager / DV360 experience to the table would be a huge bonus!
Your day to day:
- Develop and execute a robust Paid Social & Programmatic strategy for the UK market.
- Collaborate closely with performance marketing managers to align strategies and provide support as needed.
- Lead and mentor a team of Paid executives responsible for campaign execution.
- Monitor and optimise performance in line with forecast expectations, ensuring efficiency and ROI.
- Manage relationships with key partners, including Meta, RTB House and Smartly.
- Support the launch of larger brand campaigns while overseeing ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) activity.
- Work cross-functionally with teams across design, data science and marketing to ensure seamless execution and continuous innovation.
- Identify and explore new channels and opportunities in Paid Social & Programmatic to drive growth.
Your background:
- Experience working with large budgets in a Paid Social & Programmatic capacity.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with GA4 for performance reviews and insight generation.
- Experience with Smartly is a plus but not essential.
- Knowledge of Supermetrics or Tableau is desirable but not required.
- Excellent communication skills—this role requires close collaboration with various teams.
- Prior management experience is preferred but not essential.
- A creative flair and passion for keeping up with the latest trends in social media and video-led content.
